Worth the trip (About 45 minutes out of Columbia near Camden. Take I-20 to Exit 98 and turn right on SC 521. After 2 miles, turn right on SC 261 and go 4 miles.). Real high quality South Carolina foods, including grits ground right here at the mill. Once we had a meal where we were able to get a grits appetizer, a grits main dish, and a grits dessert. Reservations suggested. Go early and see the restored buildings that have recreated an old South Carolina town complete with a church. Watch brooms being made by hand and buy one to take home. The Boykin breed of dog is from this part of South Carolina. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday 5 to 10 PM. Friday and Saturday 5 to 11 PM. Upscale prices. Smoke free.
