From May 18 through 21, 2009, the Atlanta BIO (Biotechnology Industry Organization) will welcome over 2000 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees to explore the latest ideas, inventions, commercial implementations, and technologies in biotechnology and the life sciences. The "Gone with the Wind" southern US city will have visitors from all over the world. This is an opportunity for exhibitors to sell their products, services, and companies and for attendees to buy. Over 90 percent of exhibitors have revenues of $25 million or less. These are young companies, many with growth potential. |

Metromark Establishes American Collaboration Center |

Metromark has created a virtual resource for economic development agencies in the US and elsewhere in the world. That resource is the American Collaboration Center. The Center's task is to gather information on patents, ideas, concepts, innovations and technologies that can be made available for commercialization and to provide information on foreign direct investment opportunities in both the US and abroad. The American Collaboration Center will be working initially with regional development agencies in the European Union. |

Metromark, in conjunction with the Joint Commission (formerly known as Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), is providing a wiki called WikiHealthCareGlobal.com. The site provides information on the healthcare system by country, state, or group of countries or states, such as the European Union, the United States of America, or the United Kingdom. This site, administered much like Wikipedia, allows anyone to add to or modify any entry on any country. |
